CAMPHILL in England and Wales offers opportunities for people with learning disabilities, mental health problems and other special needs.
Our 23 centres include independent residential and day schools, specialist colleges of further education and adult communities where individual abilities and qualities are recognised and nurtured as the foundation for a fulfilling life.

Sept 2011: THE TWO Camphill schools in England & Wales - the Sheiling School, Ringwood, Hants and the Sheiling School, Thornbury, Gloucestershire - have both received good reports from their latest Ofsted inspections.
7 April 2011: FAMILIES & FRIENDS of Camphill, supported by the Camphill Village Trust, has called on the government for a national scheme for disability care needs assessment and support funding

IF YOU have a learning disability and you think you would like to live and work in a Camphill community, you can find out more how to apply in the About section of this website.
THE CAMPHILL Referral & Information Service is a first point of contact with Camphill for people who may be considering - on behalf of themselves or others - joining a Camphill community or may have other questions about Camphill and learning disabilities or other special needs.

VOLUNTEERS from many countries come to communities to experience a different way of life while supporting people with special needs. Our volunteers are of all ages - from young people taking a gap year to older people taking a career break. There are Volunteer vacancies now.
