About us | Whittington House

WHITTINGTON HOUSE was built in the mid-eighties by a housing association to provide rented accommodation and services for some 12 active elderly in their retirement. In 2006 the home was closed and St. Luke's Trust bought the property.

The Trust has now convert the building into self-contained flats that provide a home with a social support network for elderly individuals and couples who appreciate this type of context. Gannicox Community is closely involved with the development and running of the shared facilities and services at Whittington House.

Whittington House faces both Sunlands Kindergarten and Gannicox House. Our aspiration is that a new level and quality of mutual relationships can be fostered between the children, those looking back at a life-time's work and experience and the bustling life-sharing community at Gannicox.
